For:  Top Sand Stirring & Scavenging

My Sea Cucumbers (pictured here are 2 in my personal tank :c) are the Holothuria cubana which is a Non-Toxic Species!  Totally reef safe!

Size range from 2- 4+ inches.
Cucumbers are fantastic top sand cleaners (these do not bury).  They physically eat sand grains & poop out clean sand!  They do best with finer grain sand, no larger than Carib Sea's AragAlive Specal grade or finer.  Do NOT put these Sea Cucumbers in a tank with dolomite or freshwater gravel size substrate as they  are too large/coarse & the Sea Cucumbers cannot process it safely or at all & could die.

These Cucumbers will travel next to the base of your rocks targeting areas where detritus & uneaten foods collect.  Don't be alarmed if you don't see them  much as they prefer the dark nooks & cranny areas of your rock work - places you can't clean but they will!!

My Sea Cucumbers come in different colors/patterns so may look different than pictured here.  Note:  I've never seen one of these sea cucumbers starve if given the right sand to process so no worries about any recommended numbers or even adding one or 2 more!  They are SLOW sand processors!  Having more than one "might" give you BABY sea cucumbers too!  I've had baby sea cucumbers grow out & thrive here at AquaCorals!  :c)

Recommended per tank:
1 for 10g tank
2 up to 3 Ft tank
3-4 up to 4 Ft tank
4-6 up to 6 Ft tank
Average size is 3-4 inch.

Again, having more than one in a tank gives you a chance of having cucumber babies!  :c)

Pictures are examples only.  Expect some variations as they come in a variety of colors & patterns.
