Eats Aiptasia!!
I have one in all my displays/parent coral tanks & never see Aiptasia! They spend their days in & out of the rocks searching for tasty morsels to eat, especially aiptasia!
All born as females, the Lemonpeel Angel FEMALES are best at aiptasia removal. The males, not so much so I recommend buying 2-3 inch specimens to help ensure you're getting a female.
I have successfully kept 2 in the same tank by introducing both at the same time & both small specimens. Eventually the more dominant turns male & will grow larger than the female. It was thrilling to watch them mate but no viable young were produced from it. I was just happy that THEY were so happy & healthy that they wanted to mate!
I have experienced this to be a "Reef Safe" fish that shouldn't bother soft corals, hard corals, clams or inverts if fed properly.
